RecallOS is an AI-powered study tool. When you upload notes, documents, photos, or text, our servers send the relevant content to OpenAI, our AI provider, to generate flashcards, quizzes, summaries, study guides, exam predictions, and tutor responses for you.
What we send to AI providers
- Extracted text from your uploads (PDFs, images via OCR, typed notes).
- Your prompts and follow-up questions to the AI tutor.
- Material titles and topic tags you provide.
What we do NOT send
- Your password, payment details, or authentication tokens.
- Files or content belonging to other users.
- Your name, email, or contact info, unless they appear inside material you uploaded.
AI output is not always correct
Generated flashcards, quizzes, summaries, and exam predictions can occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify against your source material and your instructor's guidance. RecallOS is a study aid, not a substitute for studying, and does not guarantee any academic outcome.
