RecallOSThis Notice explains how RecallOS uses cookies, local device storage, and mobile SDK technologies.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use localStorage, sessionStorage, and similar SDKs.
2. Categories We Use
- Strictly necessary: authentication, session, security, load balancing. Cannot be disabled.
- Functional: remember preferences (theme, last viewed material).
- Analytics: aggregated usage via PostHog or similar to improve features. Disabled until consent where required.
- Advertising (eligible iOS accounts only): Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform may use app-scoped identifiers, consent records, local device storage, coarse location derived from IP, and ad-interaction data to deliver and measure non-personalized ads, apply frequency limits, verify optional rewards, and prevent fraud. RecallOS does not use advertising technologies for cross-app or cross-website behavioral tracking. RecallOS Pro and Pro-equivalent accounts see no ads, and Kids Mode is always ad-free.
3. Managing Cookies
You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and core features. Where required (EEA/UK), we request consent before setting non-essential cookies or mobile SDK storage. Eligible iOS users can also reopen available advertising privacy choices from Settings → Advertising privacy.
4. Do Not Track
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.
