How our educational resources are made, checked, and kept up to date.
How content is created
Educational resources are written and maintained by the RecallOS editorial team. We use AI tools to help draft and structure material, then edit for accuracy, clarity, and voice before publishing.
How AI assists
AI helps with first drafts, outlines, and summaries. Because AI output can be incomplete or wrong, nothing is published solely on an AI draft — it is reviewed against sources first. Our full AI disclosure explains how AI is used across the product.
How we choose sources
For exam-related facts we prefer primary, authoritative sources — the relevant testing body's official materials and published content domains, government health sources, and peer-reviewed educational or cognitive-science research. We link sources and avoid keyword-only citations.
When human review happens
General study-skills content is edited by the team before publishing. Clinical, pharmacological, or exam-specific claims are held for review by a qualified person before they go live. When an individual reviewer is assigned to an article, we show their name and credentials on that article and list them on our reviewers page. We do not attach a reviewer's name to content they did not review.
How to report an error
Email support@recallos.co with the page and what looks wrong. See corrections for what happens next.
How corrections and updates are handled
We verify the report against sources, fix confirmed errors, and update the article's “last updated” date. Significant corrections are noted on the page.
Education vs. medical advice
Everything here is educational. It is not medical, clinical, or professional advice and must not be used to make patient-care or treatment decisions. Always follow your program, your instructors, and current clinical guidelines.

RecallOS is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCSBN, the AACN Certification Corporation, the NBCRNA, the AANA, or any other testing or certifying organization, and it does not provide official exam content.
